one of the biggest charms of pearl beach resort is the fantastic snorkel reef with colourful intact corals and marine life just in front of the resort. a natural harbour with sandy beaches invites for a swim in the calm waters for which the secret gilis are famous. snorkel equipment is available for rent at the resort.

pearl beach resort offers a little open library which also features a wide range of books on marine life. games can be found at our restaurant or our beach beruga.

kayaking & surfing
kayaks are available for rent at the resort and various trips around the nearby islands and peninsula are awaiting you. when the waters are very calm chances are high to spot a turtle next or under your kayak. leaving the calm waters of our bay with a motor-boat you will find yourself in 20 minutes at desert point – the famous world class surf spot at bangko-bangko: big wave fun for advanced surfers.

dive centre
a variety of superb dive spots are easily accessible from pearl beach resort. guests can organise their underwater programme with our padi 5* dive shop divezone, which also offers a complete range of dive courses and diving equipment. just hop on the boat for a short cruise to the nearby diving spots or have a look at our house reef in front of the beach and your diving adventure can begin.

the name of the resort is based on the history of the region and the island. pearl farms used to grow their fascinating products in the calm waters surrounding the island: natural pearls that you will find in the decorating elements of our bugalows and that provide charming gifts and souvenirs for all women. please contact the front desk for requests.

well-equipped beach bungalows with queen-size beds as well as tropical style bamboo cottages with single and double beds. each bungalow includes an ensuite garden bathroom and in all rooms ocean breezes generally ensure that the heat is not oppressive. in addition, ceiling or wall fans help to moderate evening temperatures.

the beach bungalows, located just a stone’s throw away from the sea, offer hot shower and western-style toilet as well as a generous wooden sea view terrace equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture and swing bed. you can simply relax and enjoy the tropical tranquility while the local fishing boats pass by only metres from your terrace.

the bamboo cottages located in the tropical green of the resort offer cold water shower and western-style toilet. the charming bamboo structure of the building creates a tropical island feeling which is underlined by the inviting hammock on the sea view terrace.
